Walter Dabulewicz Obituary

On September 28, 2023 Walter Charles Dabulewicz of Moravia, NY left us after years of dealing with lung and heart disease.

He was born to John and Audrey (Seymour) Dabulewicz on May 3, 1952, in Oneonta New York, the 3rd of 5 children. Raised on the farm in Otego, and injuring his feet at a young age, he realized he needed a desk job. After graduating from Unatego High School in 1970, he set off for the city of Syracuse, where he graduated from CCBI with a degree in Business Administration in 1972. At CCBI, he met Cherene Stevens, his first wife and mother of Michael and Jessica.  While attending college, Walter worked at Marine Midland Bank. After college he started at Prudential, selling life insurance. In 1976, he and his brother-in-law and business partner Don Stevens bought the Kilborne Insurance Agency in Moravia.  At the time, he was a mere 23 Years old. He was a 50-year Masonic member. He was the Treasurer for the MFD-VFW Fair and the Fillmore Car show for many years.
